US Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick said during European trading hours on Wednesday that the trade agreement between the European Union and Washington is long-term.
Additional notes
The trade agreement between the European Union and the United States is very solid.
We are conducting a study on drones and robots from China.
Market reaction
Lutnick’s comments appear to have no tangible impact on the US dollar, as they do not provide any breakthrough in the US-EU trade outlook. At the time of writing, the US Dollar Index (DXY) is off its intraday highs after giving up early gains, and is trading marginally higher around 98.60.
