For those students enrolled at Al Dhaid University who are not eligible for scholarships, a 50% tuition discount has been allowed.
Ruler of Sharjah approves 50% discount on student tuition fees
In honor of the university’s inaugural academic year, which starts in September 2024, a discount is being provided.
During the “Direct Line” show on Sharjah Radio and Television, His Highness Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, the ruler of Sharjah and a member of the Supreme Council, made the announcement.
Programs in the arts, sciences, information technology, law, mass media, business administration, Sharia and Islamic studies, and law are all offered by Al Dhaid University.
In a separate statement, Sheikh Sultan gave the Sharjah Department of Human Resources instructions to treat Sharjah government workers who are the offspring of Emirati citizens equally in government cadres, regardless of when the mother became an Emirati citizen.
Additionally, he gave the Sharjah Roads and Transport Authority instructions to enlarge the front areas of the homes in front of Khorfakkan Hospital by five meters.
Engineer Yousef Khamis Al Othmani, Chairman of the Sharjah Roads and Transport Authority, announced the directive of the Sharjah Ruler on the “Direct Line” program that airs on Sharjah Broadcasting Authority.
The Sharjah Roads and Transport Authority Chairman clarified that the government will pay for the services that this addition will cover. He also stated that the authority will start working with all government departments to remove any barriers from the land and begin putting the addition, which the Sharjah Ruler has ordered, into action.
