Dubai Municipality has announced the designation of four public beaches exclusively for families during the Eid Al-Adha holidays.
The beaches selected for this initiative are:
- Jumeirah 2
- Jumeirah 3
- Umm Suqeim 1
- Umm Suqeim 2
This measure aims to manage and regulate the number of visitors during the busy holiday period, a time when beaches see increased attendance from various community groups.
Focus on Family-Friendly Experience
By dedicating certain beaches specifically to families, the Municipality intends to provide a more comfortable, secure, and enjoyable recreational setting.
To support this initiative, Dubai Municipality has organized a specialized safety and rescue team consisting of 126 skilled professionals, equipped with advanced tools and resources.
Their presence is expected to ensure top-level safety standards for beachgoers. Additionally, a contingent of 100 trained inspectors will supervise field operations, managing crowd sizes, ensuring traffic flow, maintaining beach security, and responding to any incidents.
Dubai Municipality reiterated its commitment to enhancing the overall recreational experience at public beaches by offering integrated, family-friendly facilities, aligning with the emirate’s broader efforts to improve residents’ quality of life.
This initiative is part of a larger strategy to promote Dubai’s beaches as inclusive destinations catering to both residents and tourists.
In collaboration with strategic partners, the Municipality will continue to monitor beach operations throughout the holiday to maintain a safe, enjoyable, and accommodating environment for families.
Dubai Municipality is responsible for managing the emirate’s waterways and public beaches, ensuring infrastructure development, and providing world-class services and amenities to support an enriching recreational experience for everyone.
